designed. Do not force the Heater/Fan and do not use it for a purpose for which it is not intended.
6.Do not use the Heater/Fan if the On/Off Switch does not turn it on or off. Any product that cannot be controlled with the On/Off Switch is dangerous and must be replaced or repaired.
7.Disconnect the Power Cord Plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the Heater/Fan. Always unplug the Heater/Fan from its electrical outlet before performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures.
8.Store idle equipment. When not in use, make sure Heater/Fan is cool to the touch and then store in a dry location to inhibit rust. Always lock up the Heater and keep out of reach of children. Store an idle Heater/Fan out of reach of children and other untrained persons. This product is dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
9.Check for breakage of parts, and any other condition that may affect the Heater/Fan operation. If damaged, have it serviced before using. Many ac- cidents are caused by poorly maintained products.
10.Tool service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel. Service or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel could result in a risk of injury.
11.Only a qualified service technician should repair this product. Follow instruc- tions in the “Inspection, Maintenance, And Cleaning” section of this manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow maintenance instructions may create a risk of electric shock or injury. The fuse in this unit must only be replaced with another 15 Amp Fast Acting Fuse of the same type.
12.Maintain labels and nameplates on the tool. These carry important information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement.
13.Never leave the Heater/Fan unattended when it is plugged in. Turn off the Heater/Fan, and unplug it from its electrical outlet before leaving.
14.Do not allow the Heater/Fan to be exposed to fire or high heat as this may result in an explosion.
15.Only plug into a DC12V Cigarette Lighter Adapter receptacle.
16.Do not block air vents. The Heater/Fan gets hot when operating, and blocking the vents will cause overheating resulting in explosion or injury.
17.Risk of Burns! Keep children and pets away from this unit while it is hot. Do not place hands or feet near the vent.
18.Do not deplete the vehicle battery. Only use this Heater when the vehicle’s en- gine is running.
