COLLINS PORTABLE HID SPOTLIGHT
Warning: Please read all instructions and warnings prior to installation. Power must be disconnected prior to installation or servicing. This luminaire must be installed and operated per NFPA 70 National Electric Code, and all applicable codes and regulations. These instructions are provided as a guideline for proper installation, and do not purport to cover every possible installation scenario or configuration. If questions arise, consult the factory.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

•This light is intended for handheld use only. It is equipped with a 12 VDC cigarette lighter plug adapter.

•The lens can become very hot during operation, and can cause burns to skin and objects. Never touch the lens, and do not allow any objects to touch the lens during operation.
MAINTENANCE & USAGE RECOMMENDATIONS:
2.Lamp and Ballast Maintenance:
•Make sure power is off before performing any maintenance on the fixture. HID fixtures produce extremely high voltage (greater than 24,000V) during operation.
•Remove the lensframe screw and nut, and set them aside for reuse later.
•Gently flex the lensframe outward, and pull it straight off. Be careful not to twist or deform the lensframe when removing it.
•The lamp is attached to the reflector with one screw. If the lamp requires replacement, then simply remove the mounting screw, replace the old lamp with a new one, and replace the mounting screw. Make sure that the new lamp is oriented in the same direction as the old lamp.

•The ballast is held in place with a flexible bracket. To remove the ballast, simply spread the bracket, and pull the ballast straight out. Install a new ballast by spreading the bracket and pushing the ballast straight in until it clicks and locks in place.
•When maintenance has been completed, first ensure that all connections are secured properly before proceeding.
