Positioning the Range
1. Whentherangeisfullyassembled,recheckallelectricalconnectionsespeciallybetweenthe exhausthoodand
thebackoftherange.Aswell,checkthatallnutsandboltshavebeentightened.
2. Ensureteonglidersandooringareclean,(asdescribedonpage5under"Gliders").
3. Caution:Onooringwithvery roughsurfacesordeep, largegroovestheappliance mayhavetobe liftedand
slowly slid into position.
4. Putbothhandsonthetrimand carefullypushtherangeintoplace, makesureoorisclearofall debris.Don't
forget to plug in the main power cord and the exhaust hood power cable and test the operation of the
appliance, before the range is in it's nal position. See closet installation instructions.
5. Toleveltherange, simplyadjust thelevelling screwswith teonpadslocated atthe bottomof eachleg (the
onesyouassembledonpage5under"Gliders").Usinga5/16(8mm)openendwrenchturntheadjustingscrew
clockwisetoraiseupthecorner,andcounter-clockwisetolowerthecorner.(Don'tforgettheteonglidershould
extendbeyondthebottomofthelegbyapproximately1/8"-1/4")Ensuretheunitisperfectlylevel,orutensilsmay
falloffduringcooking.
6. Note: Onsoftkitchen ooring,theweightofthestove maycauseslightdepressionsin theooring.Whenthe
rangeisinpositionandlevelled,youmaywantto placecoastersundertheteonglidersofeachleg,to protect
theoor.Removethecoasterswhenmovingtherangeforcleaningorservicing.

Installation Clearances
Iftherangemuststandbesidearefrigerator,itisimportant
forproperaircirculation,that therebeatleast veinches
(125mm)ofspacebetweenthetwoappliances.
Donotinstallrangecloserthan1/2"(13mm)fromadjacent
surfaces.
Toeliminatetheriskofburnsorrebyreachingoverheated
surfaceunits,installationofclosetstoragespaceabovethe
surfaceunitsshouldbeavoided. Ifthereisexistingcloset
storagespacehaveatleast301/4"(768mm)ofclearance.

For best cooking results, your range should be level.
Thiscanbecheckedwithacarpenter’slevelontop ofthe
cookingsurface and across the oven rack. If levelling is
required,adjustthelevellingscrewsunderoneor moreof
thelegs(see"PositioningtheRange"step5).
