Exhaust Hood Safety
Do not store items of interest to children in closet above the range or on top of range
closet. Children climbing on range to reach items could be seriously injured.

2. Iffoodscatchreunderthehood,turnthefanoff.Thefan,ifoperatingmayspreadtheame.

Surfaceunitsmaybehoteventhoughtheyareconcealed. Duringandafteruse,donottouch,orlet clothingorother
ammablematerialscontactsurfaceunits orareasnearunitsuntilthey havehadsufcienttimeto cool.Alwayskeep
dishtowels,cloths,potholdersandotherlinensasafedistanceawayfromcooktop.
- Cooktopsurfacesnear theelementsincrease intemperature,with thenumberof elementsthatare on.Areas near
surface units may become hot enough to cause burns.Alwayskeepcombustiblewallcoverings,curtainsordrapes
