"BATTERY EJECT" Lever

Releases the battery attached to the video camcorder.

Cassette Holder

Press "STOP/EJECT" in the stop mode to open the cassette holder. Be aware of the cassette direction when inserting.

NOTE: Power source must be connected to open the cassette holder.

"DC IN 9.6V" Jack

When using the AC adaptor/charger (provided) or the car battery cord (optional), connect this jack and the "DC OUTPUT" of the AC adaptor/charger or the car battery cord.

•"16X9" appears when the 16x9 mode is engaged.

•NEROS appears when the negative/positive recording mode is selected.

•"ZM:2" appears when the x240 digital zoom mode is selected.

•"MIRROR" appears when the half-mirror recording mode is selected.

•"MOSAIC" appears when the mosaic recording mode is selected.

5"ZOOM" appears when the digital zoom is engaged.

• "I.ZOOM" appears in the instant zoom mode.

6Displays the zoom position for several seconds when the power zoom switch is operated. 7Indicates the operating modes;

•"REC" appears during the record mode.

•"" appears during the rewind mode.

•"" appears during the fast forward mode.

•"" appears during the record/pause (stand-by) mode. 8Shows tape counter.

9Displays the remaining tape in seven steps. 10Indicates the battery condition;

•When the battery is fully charged, "" is displayed. When the battery is very near empty, "" starts blinking. You should find an alternative power

source or recharge the battery.

11Appears when the index signal is recorded automatically.

12When "REC/PAUSE" is pressed, if a cassette without its safety tab is inserted,

"TAPE" blinks for several seconds. When "REC/PAUSE" is pressed, if no cassette is inserted, "NO TAPE" blinks for several seconds.

13Indicates the date/time during the record or record/pause (stand-by) mode. You can record the time and/or date with object when recording.
