SCOPE OF WORK

Procedures and Scope of Work for installing RBC50 & RBC100 Blast Chillers.

Model RBC100 ships standard with the optional bottom mounted electric condensate evaporative pan kit for condensate removal. The standard drain port location is at the rear of the unit. To be installed if no drain is available.

The RBC50 & RBC100 are included in the Retail Installation Credit (WRN Claim) program.

Unit ships with standard legs. Casters are available at additional cost upon request.

KROGER/GENERAL CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive, Uncrate and Set in Place the RBC Blast Chiller

Electrical Hook-up. RBC100 Provided with a Grounding Type Cord without a Plug.

Provide Dedicated 220/60/1 Volt, 4 Wire, 20amp Grounded Circuit with Receptacle

Drain is Required

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS OR SHORTAGES

Any shortages and/or visible damage must be marked on the freight bill at the time of delivery. If damages are found, the local office of the carrier must be notified at once and an inspection requested. Also, notify Hobart Customer Service. If the delivery receipt is signed clear and concealed damage is found, the carrier must be notified and inspection requested within 15 days of delivery.

Hobart Corporation will take care of filing carrier claims for lost or damaged shipments. The local Hobart office can ascertain if the unit can be repaired in the field or at their location. Should replacement of unit(s) or parts be necessary, contact your Hobart representative or the Customer Service Department.

INSTALLING HOBART OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Verify Unit and All Accessories Have Been Properly Assembled.

Perform Startup of RBC Chiller

Set Date and Time, Verify Printer Paper is Loaded and Operating Properly.

Start Up Unit and Test Operation

Customer Demo/Training*

o Demonstrate Controls, Cleaning and Maintenance Procedures to Deli Personnel o Loading Printer Paper
