DC OPERATION
Connecting the battery charging cable:
The battery gives off explosive gases; keep sparks, flames, and
cigarettes away. Provide adequate ventilation when charging or using
batteries.
WARNING:
Wash hands after handling.

The DC receptacle should ONLY be used for charging 12-volt
automotive type batteries. The DC charging output is not regulated.
Before connecting the battery charging cable (optional equipment)
to a battery that is installed in a vehicle, disconnect the vehicle
battery ground cable from the negative ( ) battery terminal.
Connect the red lead of the battery charging cable to the positive
( ) battery terminal and the black lead to the negative ( ) battery
terminal.
Plug the battery charging cable into the DC receptacle of the
generator.
Battery posts, terminals, and related accessories contain
lead and lead components.
Start the generator.
