Transmission Release Lever
RELEASED ENGAGED
TRANSMISSIONRELEASE LEVER
Operating the transmission release leverwhile the engine is running
can damage the transmission.
Stop the engine.
Set the shift lever in the ‘‘N’’ (Neutral) position.
Set the lever in the ENGAGED or RELEASED position.
The transmission release leverhas two positions, RELEASED and
ENGAGED. Set the lever in the ENGAGED position for self-propelled
operation. Set itin the RELEASED position when pushing the
snowblower with the engine stopped.
Pushing or towing the snowblower with the transmission release
control in the engaged position will damage the hydrostatic
transmission.
