Replacing the 2020 Interface Cable:

1.Turn the power to the host system OFF.

2.Disconnect the base’s cable from the terminal or computer.

3. Turn the base upside down.

4. Pull the connector out while maintaining pressure on the connector release clip.

5. Replace with the new cable.

Insert the connector into the opening and press firmly. The connector is keyed to go in only one way, and will click into place.

Changing the 3820/3820i

Battery:

1. Remove the screw on the end cap on the 3820. On the 3820i, unscrew the thumb- wheel end cap.

2. Remove the battery from the handle.

3. Insert battery.

4. Replace end cap and screw or tighten the thumbwheel end cap.
