Connect Multipurpose Cable
There are three optional dongle cables for use with the multipurpose port.

These cables provide:
•A USB type A plug,
•A COM4 serial port connector, or
•Both a USB Type A port and a COM4 serial port
1.D15 Connector (to Thor VX8)
2.D9 Serial Connector (COM4)

Pin 9 of COM4 provides +12V. Verify acceptable input voltages before connecting serial devices.
Configuration of COM port power is handled via the VMT Manager option in the Control Panel. For more information consult the Thor VX8 Reference Guide or the system administrator responsible for the configuration of the Thor VX8.
