4.If you have a problem

If a minor problem develops, it usually can be solved quite easily when the cause is identified by using the check list below.

Problem: Cleaner won’t run

Possible cause

Possible solution

•Not firmly plugged in.

•Plug in firmly.

•No voltage in wall plug.

•Check fuse or breaker.

•Blown fuse/tripped breaker.

•Replace fuse/reset breaker.

Problem: Cleaner won’t pick up

Possible cause

Possible solution

•Dirt cup full.

•Empty dirt cup.

•Nozzle, dirt passageway clogged.

•Remove obstruction.

•Filter clogged.

•Empty dirt cup and clean filter.

•Agitator brushes worn.

•Repalce agitator.

•Broken or worn belt.

•Replace belt.

Problem: Dirt falling from cleaner

•Flap on filter clogged or damaged.

•Remove obstruction; replace filter if necessary

Lubrication

The motor and agitator bearings are per- manently lubricated. The addition of lubricant could cause damage.

Therefore, do not lubricate the cleaner.

Service
