Troubleshooting

Whenever the appliance fails to work, check for a solution from the following list before calling for Assistance (see Assistance).

Malfunction:	Possible causes / Solutions:
The dishwasher does not start.	•	The plug has not been inserted into the electrical socket properly, or
			there is no power in the house .
	• The dishwasher doo r has not been shut properly .
	• A dela yed start has been program m ed (see Start - up and use ) .
No w ater drains out from the	• The dishwasher cycle has not yet f inished .

	• The d rain duct is blocked .
	• The filter is clogged up wit h food residues .
The dishw asher makes	• The dishes are rattling against eac h other or against the sprayer arm s .

			been m easured out correctly or it is not suitable for use in dishwashers
			(see Start - up and use) .
The dishes and glass es are	•	The le vel of the refined salt is low or the dosage setting is not s uited to

	•		The wash cycle is too gentle (see W ash cycles) .
	•	An excessive am ount of foam has been produced: the detergent has not
			been m easured out correctly or it is not suitable for use in dishwashers
			(see St art- up and use) .
	• The lid on the rinse ai d compartm ent has not been shut correctly .
	• The filter is dirty or blocked (see Ca re and m aintenance) .
	• The refined salt level is low (see Rinse aid and s alt) .
The dishw asher does not take	• There is no water in the m ains supply .
an y w ater in/Tap shu t - o ff alarm .	•		The water inlet hose is bent ( see Ins tallation ) .
