Easy to setup on a network
The built-in 10/100 Base-T Ethernet networking and HP installation software reduces the time and complexity of networked device installation and configuration by providing simple, straightforward steps and a user-friendly interface. The product supports TCP/IP: IP Direct Mode, LPD, SLP, Bonjour, BOOTP/ DHCP/ AutoIP, WINS, SNMP v 1, and HTTP for easy administration.
Manage from anywhere
Proactively manage your printer and save valuable IT time with HP ToolboxFX (Windows), the HP Embedded Web Server (for network users and Macintosh), and HP Web Jetadmin peripheral management software. These simple, Web-based tools let you remotely manage networked peripherals. HP ToolboxFX and the HP Embedded Web Server lets you view individual device status, manage device functions, and configure network settings remotely, from any computer on the network. HP Web Jetadmin is free, downloadable software that provides network managers a single support tool to configure, update firmware, install, monitor, and troubleshoot a wide range of network-connected devices. Reduce help desk calls and downtime by enabling alerts and device reporting that delivers notifications about paper jams or low printing supplies to printer administrators.
