128 GB solid-state drive (SSD), M.2

The M.2 SSD is secured with one Phillips screw. It is located under the heat sink and fan.

To remove the M.2 SSD:

1.Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 121).

2.Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 122).

3.Remove the hard drive (Hard drive on page 123).

4.Remove the drive cage (Drive cage on page 139).

5.Remove the heat sink (Heat sink on page 136).

6.Remove the fan (Fan on page 138).

7.Rotate the drive cage to its upright position.

8.Remove the Phillips screw that secures the module to the computer.
