2.Do not operate the Laminator in explosive atmospheres, such as in the pres- ence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Electrical equipment creates sparks which may ignite flammables.

3.Keep bystanders, children, and visitors away while operating laminating equipment. Distractions can cause you to lose control. Protect others in the work area from accidents.

PERSONAL SAFETY

1.Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating a Laminator. Do not use laminating equipment while tired or under the influ- ence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention while operating laminating equipment may result in personal injury.

2.Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from the Laminator. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can become caught in the Laminator, causing personal injury.

3.Avoid accidental starting. Be sure the Power Switch is off before plugging in. Plugging in laminating equipment with the Power Switch on invites accidents.

4.Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Proper footing and balance enables better control of the Laminator in unexpected situations.

5.Use eye and skin protection. Always wear ANSI approved safety goggles. Wear fire resistant work gloves to protect from accidental burns.

TOOL USE AND CARE
