k.Click Yes.

The appropriate software sets automatically selected.

l.Choose Actions > Install.

An installation analysis takes place.

m.Click OK.

Allow several minutes (possibly as long as 30 minutes) for this process to complete because only certain pieces of the bundle are installed.

n.Click Done.

o.Choose File > Exit to close the installation GUI. A prompt for a system reboot displays.

p.Enter OK for a system reboot.

2.Install Netscape 4.7x as follows:

a.Go to the following HP website: http://www.software.hp.com/cgi-bin/ swdepot_parser.cgi/cgi/displayProductInfo.pl?productNumber=B8342AA.

NOTE: If this link is not functional, go to http://www.hp.com and conduct a search on the HP website using Netscape Communicator 4.7x. Then select the resulting link called HP: Software Depot - netscape communicator 4.7x to reach the desired HP website.

b.Click RECEIVE FOR FREE at the bottom of the page to download the B8342AA_11.00 (B8342AA_4.79_11.00.depot) kit to a local directory.

Registration is required to complete the free download. For software specification, select HP-UX 11.00 Netscape Communicator 4.79.

c.From the command prompt, enter swinstall&. A software installation GUI displays.

d.In the Specify Source window:

—For Source Depot Type, select Local Directory.

—For Source Depot Path, type:

/<local_directory>/B8342AA_4.79_11.00.depot.

e.Click OK.

f.From the software installation GUI, select B8342AA.
