Inserting the Battery
Follow these instructions to insert the battery into the battery/memory card compartment.
4.If the battery is already installed, make sure to power off the camera before removing and inserting a recharged or new battery
5.Open the battery/memory card compartment at the bottom of the camera as illustrated
6.Insert the battery into the compartment with correct orientation as illustrated.
7.Close and secure the battery/memory card compartment.
