Troubleshooting

The Media Center Extender might display an error code on screen such as the following picture:

If this screen appears, the number in the triangle on the lower-left corner will be a 1, 2, 3, or 4. Use the following table to determine what the error means and action you need to take to correct the error.

Update and Restore

You should update the Media Center Extender only if you are absolutely sure you should do so. If you are having problems with your Media Center Extender and believe you need an update, contact HP for more information.
