Install the X506 Chassis

To install the TippingPoint follow the steps in these sections:

Determine Total Rack Space

Bolt the Device to the Rack

Determine Total Rack Space

Before you install the chassis, you must determine the total rack space that is required. The required rack space increases if you plan to install multiple systems.

The X506 device fits in either a 19-inch or a 23-inch wide rack. See the following table for individual rack space requirements.

Bolt the Device to the Rack

Use the following guidelines when you bolt the X506 to the rack:
