TROUBLE SHOOTING

FAULT	CAUSE	REMEDY
Pump running normally but pressure does	Pump sucking air.	Check that hoses and fittings are air tight.
not achieve rated pressure.	Valves worn or dirty.	Check, clean or replace.
	Insufficient water flow.	Increase water supply.
	Unloader valve packing worn.	Check and replace.
	Nozzle incorrect or worn.	Check and replace.
	Worn piston packing.	Check and replace.
Fluctuating pressure	Valves worn, dirty or stuck.	Check, clean or replace.
	Pump sucking air.	Check that hoses and fittings are air tight.
	Worn piston packing.	Check and replace.
	Insufficient water flow.	Increase water supply. May require new
		water supply source.
Pressure drops after period of normal use.	Nozzle worn.	Check and replace.
	Valves worn, dirty or stuck.	Check, clean or replace.
	Unloader valve packing worn.	Check, clean or replace.
	Worn piston packing.	Check and replace.
Pump noisy	Pump sucking air.	Check that hoses and fittings are air tight.
	Valves dirty or worn.	Check, clean or replace.
	Worn bearings.	Check and replace if necessary.
Presence of water in oil	High humidity in air.	Check and change oil twice as often.
Water dripping from under pump.	Piston packing worn.	Check and replace.
	The O-rings of piston guide or retainer	Check and replace.
	worn.	Check and replace.
Oil dripping.	Oil seal worn.	Check and replace.
Engine will not start.	Low fuel level.	Add fuel.
	Low oil level.	Add oil.
	Worn spark plug or gap.	Replace.
