12. Click OK again.
13. Click Close.
14. Restart your computer to enable the DMA of your DVD-RAM drive.
Step 11. Installing the MPEG-2 Decoding software forWindows 98, Windows 95 OSR2, or Windows Me.
Note: Before installing MPEG-2 decodingsoftware, be sure to read Changing
the DVD region codeon page 1-17to familiarize yourself with the
region-code concept.
To install the MPEG-2 Decoding software for Windows98, Windows 95 OSR2,
or Windows Me, do the following:
1. Close any programs that are running.
2. Insert the MPEG-2 decoding software CD into your DVD-RAM drive.
3. If the Installation window opens automatically,go to step 8. Otherwise,
continue with step 4.
4. Click Start.
5. Click Run.
6. Type e:\SETUP.EXE, where eis the drive letter for your DVD-RAM drive.
7. Click OK.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
9. Restart Windows. The installation is complete.

Step 12. Verifying device driver software for Windows NT 4.0
If you are using Windows NT 4.0, refer to the documentation that comes with
your computer to determine if the IDE controller on your computer supports
DMA transfers.
If your computer IDE controller does not support DMA transfers, you must go
to the Web site for the manufacturer of the systemboard in your computer,
and download and install the Windows NT 4.0 DMAdevice driver, using
instructions that are provided on the Website.
