Using single- and double-sided DVD-RAM media
DVD-RAM media is available in single-sided and double-sided versions.
2.6 GB and 4.7 GB versions are single-sided and are available in TypeI or Type
II cartridges. 5.2 GB and 9.4 GB versions are double-sided and are available in
Type II cartridges. Toaccess the data on both sides of the media, you must
remove the cartridge from the drive, turn it over,and re-insert it in the drive.
For convenience, double-sided cartridges are labeled side Aand side B.
