Listening to all other iPods
To listen to the iPod:
1Make sure that your clock radio with iPod dock is turned off, then insert the iPod into the slot.
2Turn on your clock radio with iPod dock.
3Press the SOURCE button to select iPod. Playback begins automatically.
4Press the

, and 
buttons on the clock radio with iPod dock and remote control to control iPod playback.
5If necessary, press the +/- to adjust the volume.
Listening to other portable audio devices
To listen to another portable audio device:
1Make sure that your clock radio with iPod dock is turned off.
2Connect the

4Use the controls on the audio device to control playback.
5If necessary, press the +/- to adjust the volume.
Charging the 3G iPod battery
The iPod is charged when it is inserted into the clock radio with iPod dock and the clock radio with iPod dock is turned on.
To charge the iPod battery:
1Make sure that the AC power adapter on your clock radio with iPod dock is connected.
2Turn on your clock radio with iPod dock.
3Turn on your iPod.
4Insert the iPod into the slot, with the display facing out.
5Press the SOURCE button to select iPod.
6Press the ST/ 
button five times quickly to switch to FC (Firewire Charge) charging mode.
