SureStep® Suspension.
The Invacare® TDX® Family uses an enhanced version of Invacare’s patented Invacare® SureStep® technology that was made famous on the first generation TDX line and the Invacare ® Pronto® series of wheelchairs.
With Enhanced Invacare® SureStep® Suspension, the TDX SP and TDX SR wheelchairs climb up to a 3" obstacle going forward; the TDX SC and the TDX SPREE wheelchairs climb up to a 2.5" obstacle. As a new design feature, the front casters also will drop a full 3", which makes transitioning down an obstacle very gentle and nearly silent. The integrated Invacare® Traction Control Design TCD™ Relative Movement also makes climbing over obstacles up to 1" high in reverse nearly effortless.
