7. HD Radio Operation

Entering Mode Select Menu

Press the “SAT” button. Press the “CAT FLDR” ▲ or ▼ button to cycle through the Media Gateway sources until HD-FM or HD-AM is displayed. Wait 6 seconds and the radio will select the displayed option.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are listening to Satellite Radio and wish to switch the Media Gateway source, you must press the TUNE KNOB twice before pressing the “CAT FLDR” ▲ or ▼ button. If the radio still does not go into the mode select menu, press and hold the TUNE KNOB until the radio menu is displayed. Turn the TUNE KNOB until the radio displays”SELECT SCAN SAT”. Press the preset button underneath “Channels”. Press and hold the TUNE KNOB to exit the radio menu. You should now be able to access the mode select menu.

Seek Up

Press the ”SEEK▲” button to seek up to next available station.

Seek Down

Press the ”SEEK ▼” button to seek down to the next available station.

Manually Tune

Turn the Tune knob to manually tune. Clockwise will tune up, Counter- clockwise will tune down.

Storing stations into preset memory

Tune to the station you wish to store then press the TUNE KNOB.

Use the “CAT FLDR” button to cycle through the preset locations (1-18FM, or 1-6 AM). Once the location you would like to select is displayed press the TUNE KNOB to store the station. The radio will display “PR SAVED”

Recall a station from preset memory

Press the TUNE KNOB to access the preset memory menu.

Use the “CAT FLDR” button to cycle through the preset locations. When the desired preset is displayed press the SEEK ▼ button to recall it.
