The Canninggrateis to be usedonlywithJenn-AirExpressionsGasceoktops. This optionalaccessorymakes it possibleto use large over-sizedcanners or stockpotson the cooktop. Normallycanners should not be allowed to extend over the edge of the grate• Heat build-upunder the canner could damage surrounding areas. The elevated design of the Canning grate eliminates such problems.

Note: The large front burner has been designedto supply the highest BTU rate. When canning,usethis burner_.

1.Beforeinstallingthecanninggrate,be certainALL controlknobsare inthe "OFF" positionand the cooktopgrate is cool.

2.Removethe burnergratefrom the large frontburnerof the cooktop.

3. Place the canninggrate in its place. The large flat portionshouldextend forwardover the countertop.Add the surface burner grate on top of the canninggrate,

4.Use the surface control knob for the large front burner.

5. The grate can be removed for storage once it has cooled.
