Ink(Ballpoint) Spraystain with hair spray untilsaturated or sponge stain with rubbingalcohol or spraywith pretreat
)roduct. Rinse thoroughly. Pretreat stain. Launder using the hottest water safe forthe fabric. Use
appropriatebleach.
Ink(Felt Tip) Spraystain with liquid household cleaner until saturated. Rub cleaner into stain. Rinse.Repeat as
manytimes as necessary to remove stain. Launder.
Mildew Pretreatstain. Launder using the hottest water safe for the fabric. Use appropriate bleach. If stain
remains,spongewith hydrogen peroxide. Rinse thoroughly and launder again.
Milk, Cream, leeCreamSoak in cold water withdetergent. Pretreat stain. Launder using the hottest water safe for thefabric.
Useappropriatebleach. If greasy stain remains,spongewith cleaning fluid.Rinse by hand.Launder
again.
Mud Letstaindry, then brushwell.Spongewith coldwater. Pretreat stain.Launder using thehottestwater
safe for the fabric. Useappropriate bleach.
Mustard Pretreatstain. Launder using the hottest water safe for the fabric. Use appropriate bleach.
Nail Polish Placestain face down on papertowels. Sponge with nail polish remover or amy1acetate. Use amyl
acetate only on acetate. (Test nail polish remover on seam of garment first.) Launder after rinsing
thoroughly by hand. Ifcolor remains, bleach, ifsafe for fabric.
Perfume Spongepromptly with cold water or soak in coldwater 30 minutes with detergent. Pretreat remaining
stain, Launderwith an appropriate bleach. Use the hottestwater safe forthe fabric,
Perspiration Pretreatremaining stain.Launder with anappropriate bleach.Use thehottest water safeforthe fabric.
Iffabric has been discolored,restoreby applying ammonia to freshstains or vinegar toord stains.
Rinse. Launder.
Rust Applyrust remover accordingto manufacturer's directions. Launder. Do not usechlorine bleach on
ruststains. Do not use rust remover in washer or on washertop.
ShoePolish Scrapeoffas much aspossible with a dull knife. Pretreatremaining stain. Launder withan appropriate
bleach. Use the hottest water safe for the fabric. If stain persists, sponge with one part denatured
alcoholand two parts water. Rinse thoroughly by hand. Launder.
Tar Treat immediately before stain is dry. Pour cleaning fluid through fabric. Repeat. Stain may be
Lmpossibletoremove. Rinsethoroughly by hand. Launder.
UrineSoakin cold waterwith detergent. Pretreat remainingstain. Launderwith anappropriate bleach. Use
thehottest water safeforthefabric.
