STEP 9
Apply tape to the swi tch panel to mark your cut l ine and new
hose nozzle's mounting hole.
Drill a new mounting ho l e for the hose nozzle as clos e t o the
switch opening as possible.
Cut the bottom of the s witch panel just belo w t he new
mounting hole.
SUVs with the air compressor only.
STEP 11
The cut out of the side pan el only needs to be as wide a s the
switch hold clips that a re on the back side of the sw itch panel.
The cut out of the side pan el only needs to be as tal l , as from
the bottom of the swi tch and to the top of the swit ch panel.
Do not cut the side panel as t all as the tongue that
is on the top and the back si de of the switch panel.
Mark the hose nozzle's mounting hole onto the side panel.

STEP 10
The air compressor sw i tch panel needs to be moun ted at
the lower right corne r, ou t side the pocket onto the s ide
panel.

STEP 7
Remove the storage do o r.
If your SUV does not have the f a ctory air compres sor,
please go directly to STEP 14.
SUVs with the air compressor only.
STEP 6
This compressor is not to b e r emoved out of the wheel
well. Carefully wedg e t he compressor into the w heel well,
so it stays. Some lar ge zip ties can be used to tem p orary
mount the compressor o u t of the way.
Make sure that you do not k i nk any of the nylon air hose.

STEP 5
Look up into the passeng e r's side rear wheel wel l . You will
see this metal plate a s i n t he picture.
The air compressor in mo u nted onto this plate. T h e plate is
mounted to the chassis w ith two bolts.
Remove these two bolts.
STEP 4
With a 10mm box/open end wrench, remove the bolt that
is located in front off t he passenger's side r e ar tire.
With all the mounting h ardware removed , r emove the
plastic wheel well l i n er.
If your SUV does not have the f a ctory air compres sor,
please go directly to STEP 7.

STEP 8
Pop out the panel that hold t he air compressor swi tch and
hose nozzle.
Remove the hose nozzle from panel.
Pop the switch out of the pa nel, from the back side .
