Using the freezer
Freezing
The freezer is suitable for freezing fresh or cooked foods prepared in the home. It is also suitable for freezing foods purchased from supermarkets; be aware and follow the freezing instructions on the packaging. Follow the guidelines for the freezer below.
Prior to home food preparation using the function button
(E)press once or twice to select super freezing mode (the super freezing mode symbol will appear on the display).The freezer will now start to lower the temperature to a save freezing temperature.
Remove previously frozen foods from the bottom freezing compartments to the two storage compartments above and place the fresh foods in the freezing compartment; ensuring there is space around the foods for the air to circulate.
Run the freezer on super freezing mode for 24 hours.
To cancel the super freezing mode press the function button
(E)to returnthe freezer to normal mode. The freezer will automatically return to normalmode after approximately 50 hours'
Never freeze food in larger quantities than stated in the technical specifications. the foods will not be safely and thoroughly frozen and after
defrosting, deterioration of the food will take place resulting in a loss of taste, structure and aroma.
Do not make ice cubes during freezing; it will reduce the freezing capacity of the freezer.
Storing in the freezer
Once the freezing process has been completed all compartments can be used for storage but if you require to freeze further quantities of food move the recently frozen foods to the upper compartments.
If you are storing large quantities of food you can remove the top two baskets from the freezer and store foods directly on the shelves. Do not remove the bottom freezing compartment.

How to make ice cubes
To make ice cubes fill the ice cube tray with fresh or filtered water and place the tray into the frozen food compartment. Set the thermostat control to maximum to reduce the freezing time.
