Storing your own sound adjustments

You can adjust the sound modes (BEAT, SOFT, POP) to your preference and store your own adjustments in memory.

There is a time limit in doing the following procedure. If the setting is canceled before you finish, start from step 1 again.

3 Adjust the bass, treble or BBEII * level or turn the loudness function** ON/OFF.

See pages 20 and 23 for details.

1 Call up the sound mode you want to adjust.

See “Using the sound control memory” on page 21 for details.

Ex.: When you select “SOFT”

2 Select “BAS” (bass), “TRE” (treble) or “BBE II”*/“LOUD” (loudness)**.

Ex.: When you adjust “TRE” (treble)

Equalization pattern changes as you adjust the bass or treble.

4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 to adjust the other items.

* Only for KD-SX991R

This “BBEII” indicator lights up when the BBE function is set at BBE 2.

** Only for KD-SX911R

The “LOUD” indicator lights up when the LOUD function is turned on.
