5Select the desired audio channel when using a Karaoke SVCD/VCD (see page 15).

6Sing into the microphone.

7Adjust the MIC LEVEL and VOLUME.

To cancel the Karaoke Mode, select “MIC OFF” in step 3.

—Vocal Masking

You can enjoy singing along while playing a stereo disc. Vocal Masking reduces the lead vocal of a disc.

You can use this function only with DVD/CD sources.

When playing a Karaoke disc in Vocal Masking Mode, the vocal may not be reduced or the volume may be lower.

1Turn MIC LEVEL to MIN.

2Connect the microphone(s) (not supplied) to the MIC jack(s).

3Insert and start playing a stereo disc.

4Activate Vocal Masking Mode.

5Sing into the microphone(s).

6Adjust the MIC LEVEL and VOLUME.

To cancel the Vocal Masking Mode, select “MIC OFF” in step 4 or change the source to play.

Karaoke function is not available in the Australian model.
