Beschikbare Surroundmodus voor de diverse software

De Surroundmodus die u kunt gebruiken verschilt afhankelijk van de luidsprekerinstellingen en de binnenkomende signalen. De tabel op deze en de volgende bladzijde toont de relatie tussen de Surroundmodus en de binnenkomende signalen (met surroundachterluidsprekers en EX/ES-instelling).

•Het tussen haakjes aangegeven aantal onder het type van het binnenkomende signaal toont het aantal voorkanalen en surroundkanalen. (3/2) betekent bijvoorbeeld dat de signalen met drie signalen voor drie voorkanalen (links/rechts/midden) en twee (stereo) surroundsignalen zijn opgenomen.

3D HEADPHONE modus—3D H PHONE

U kunt tevens de surroundmodus gebruiken bij weergave via de hoofdtelefoon.

Indien u op de toets SURROUND drukt wanneer beide voorluidsprekers 1 en 2 zijn uitgeschakeld, wordt de 3D HEADPHONE modus geactiveerd, ongeacht het type software dat wordt afgespeeld. “3D H PHONE” verschijnt op het display en de DSP en HEADPHONE indicators lichten tevens op.

Indien u surroundluidsprekers heeft aangesloten (en geactiveerd), kunt u Virtueel 6,1-kanaal surround gebruiken bij weergave van Dolby Digital EX of DTS-ES gecodeerde software ookal zijn geen surround-achterluidsprekers verbonden. Met dit surroundformaat worden de signalen van de surround-achterkanalen naar de surroundluidsprekers gestuurd zodat het lijkt alsof er toch een surroundeffect via de achterluidsprekers wordt gereproduceerd. De VIRTUAL SB (Surround Back) indicator licht op het display op.
