Assembling the front and surround speakers

The following procedure explains the front speaker assembly. The assembly of both the front and surround speakers are done in the same manner.

NOTE

•The stands and the base plates are commonly used for both front and surround speakers assembly.

Before assembling —

•Prepare a Phillips screwdriver (not supplied).

•Take care not to drop the base plate while assembling; otherwise, it may cause damage to the floor or injury.

•You can route the speaker cords through one on the three grooves on the base plate depending on the speaker layout.

•Depending on the installing condition, you can assemble the front and surround speakers without the stands. In such a case, attach the speaker directly to the base plate instead of the stand.
