Before connecting the antenna, disconnect the supplied FM antenna.

A 75 Ω antenna with coaxial type connector (IEC or DIN 45325) should be used.
Fasten it up in the position which gives you the best reception, then fix it on the wall, etc.
2Connect the supplied AM (MW) loopantenna to the AM LOOP terminal.Place the antenna away from the unit and adjust its position for the best reception.
For better reception of both FM and AM (MW)
•Make sure the antenna conductors do not touch any other terminals or connecting cords.
•Keep the antennas away from metallic parts of the unit, connecting cords, and the AC power cord.
About the supplied FM antenna
The FM antenna supplied with this unit can be used as temporary measure. If reception is poor, you can connect an outdoor FM antenna.
IMPORTANT:
Be sure to check that all connections have been made before plugging in the power cord.
