The “10” and “+10” buttons are not used in this function.

NOTES

• You can also locate a desired chapter directly by

specifying the chapter or track number using the

numeric buttons during playback (except when a menu

is shown). See page 34.

• When the chapter or track number is incorrect in step 3:

Overwrite the incorrect number with the correct

number.

• When is displayed on the TV screen in step 4:

The chapter or track you have selected is not contained

in the disc, or chapter/track search does not work on the

disc.

• To return to the regular display:

Press ON SCREEN.

1 Press ON SCREEN.

The on-screen display appears on the TV screen.

2 Use CURSOR 5/to move to [TIME SEARCH], then press ENTER.

“GO TO” appears in the message area. The color of [TIME SEARCH] changes.

3 Use the numeric buttons (0 to 9) to enter the time.

The specified time appears in the message area.

4 Press ENTER.

The unit starts playback from the specified time.

Screen example

• You cannot use this function with a DVD AUDIO disc

that does not contain any picture.

specifying the elapsed time from the beginning of the

 

current title (for DVD VIDEO), the current group (for DVD

 

AUDIO) or the disc (for Audio CD/Video CD) using the

 

TIME SEARCH function.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Advanced operations

Note that some DVD VIDEO discs do not contain time

information, and the TIME SEARCH function cannot be
