Connecting the Player to a TV or Amplifier

Before connecting this unit to a TV or amplifier, make certain that all devices, including the JD-VD760 are switched off, all AC cords are disconnected from wall outlets, and that ventilation holes are not blocked.

Observe the color coding of all audio and video cables, matching them with the output jacks on all connected devices.

S-VIDEO OUTPUT CONNECTORS

The S (separate) video output connector separates the color (C) and luminance (Y) signals before transmitting them to the TV set in order to achieve a sharper picture.
