• Putting out grease fires by closing the lid is not
possible. Grills are well ventilated for safetyreasons.
•Do not use water on a grease fire. Personal injury may
result. Ifa grease fire develops, turn knobs and LPtank
off.
•Do not leave grill unattendedwhile preheating or
burning offfood residue onhigh. If grill has not been
regularly cleaned, a grease fire canoccur that may
damage the product.
Match-Lighting
•Do not lean over grillwhile lighting.
1, Open lid, Turn on gas at LP tank.
2, Placelit match into match-lighting hole from beneathgrill
bottom (as shown below).
3, Pushin andturn rightknob to• (ignite position). Be sure
burner lights and stayslit.
4, Light left burner by pushingleft knob in and turning to 9)
(ignite position).
After Lighting: Turn knobs to HI for warm-up.

Ignitor Lighting

•Do not lean over grill while lighting.

2, Turn leftknob to O (ignite position).
3, Pushand holdignitor button to light. Be sure burner lights and
stays lit.
4, Ifburner does not light, turn knobs to _, wait 5 minutes,
try again.
5, Once left burner is lit, turn right knob to O to light right
burner.
6, If ignitor does notwork, wait 5 minutes, then follow match
lighting instructions.
After Lighting:Turn knobsto HI position for warm-up. Donot
warm up grill with knobs on _ (ignite position).Knobsand
handle will become uncomfortably hot if left in 9) (ignite
position).
