For Safe Use Of Your Grill And To Avoid Serious
Injury:•Do not let children operateor playnear grill.
• Keepgrill area clear and free from materials that burn.
• Do not block holes in bottom or back of grill.
• Check burner flames regularly.
• Usegrill onlyin well-ventilated space.NEVER usein
enclosed space such as carport, garage, porch, covered
patio, or under anoverhead structure ofany kind.
• Do not use charcoalor ceramicbriquets ina gas grill.
(Unless briquets are supplied withyour grill.)
• Use grill at least 3 ft. from any wall or surface. Maintain
10 ft. clearance to objects that can catch fire or sources of
ignition such as pilot lights on water heaters, live electrical
appliances, etc.
•Apartment Dwellers:
Checkwith management to learnthe requirements andfire
codes for using an LPgas grill inyour apartment complex. If
allowed, use outside on the groundfloor witha three (3)foot
clearance from wallsor rails. Do not useon or under
balconies.
•NEVER attempt to light burnerwith lid closed. A buildup
of non-ignited gas inside a closed grill is hazardous.
•Never operate grill with LPtank out ofcorrect position
specified in assembly instructions.
•Always close LP tank valveand removecoupling nut
before moving LP tank from specifiedoperation
position.
Safety Tips
• Before opening LP tank valve, checkthe couplingnut for
tightness.
• When grill isnot in use, turn offall control knobsand LPtank
valve.
• Never move grill whilein operationor stillhot.
• Use long-handled barbecue utensils andoven mittsto avoid
bums and splatters.
• Maximum load for shelves is10 Ibs.
• Asoup canmust be attached togrease clipand emptied
after each use. Do notremove soupcan until grillhas
completely cooled.
If you notice grease orother hotmaterial dripping from grill
onto valve, hose or regulator, turn off gas supply at once.
Determine the cause, correct it,then cleanand inspect valve,
hose and regulator beforecontinuing. Perform a leaktest.
The regulator maymake a hummingor whistling noiseduring
operation. This will notaffect safety oruse of grill.
If you have a grillproblem seethe "Troubleshooting Section".
If the regulator frosts, turnoff grill andLP tank valve
immediately.This indicates a problem withthe tank andit
should not be usedon any product.Return to supplier!
