Models with Frostguard™ De-icer Control

The Frostguard™ de-icer senses ice build up on the evaporator coil and automatically shuts off the compressor. The fan continues to run, drawing air across the coil and melting the ice. When the coil is defrosted, the Frostguard™ de-icer sensor restarts the compressor auto- matically. Refer to the performance chart, on the water pan operating temperatures at various relative humidity levels.

"DONT’S" TO REMEMBER

1.Don't alter or change the plug on the power supply cord of your dehumidifier. Changes would make it unsafe, could cause serious damage to the dehumidifier, and might void this warranty.

2.Don't plug in the dehumidifier if you are in doubt about the grounding of your electrical system. Consult a qualified electrician first.

3.Don't use a lamp cord. If necessary use an approved grounded appliance extension cord with a maximum length of 6 ft. and minimum wire thickness of 14 guage.

4.Don't use a circuit that will become overloaded when the dehumidifier is added.

5.Do not sit or stand on the dehumidifier.
