After approximately 90 brewing cycles the descale warning button

￿will light up and flash to indicate that the coffee maker requires descaling (see ‘to descale’).

1Buy a suitable descaler.

2Descale the machine.

3After descaling, run at least two full tanks of water (without coffee) through the coffee maker to clean it out.

4Unplug and allow to cool. Then wash the parts.

5Plug in and switch on.

6Reset the descale warning button by pressing for 2-3 seconds until the light goes out.

If your coffee maker goes wrong within one year from the date you bought it, we will repair it (or replace it if necessary) free of charge provided:

you have not misused, neglected or damaged it;

it has not been modified (unless by Kenwood);

it is not second-hand;

it has not been used commercially;

you have not fitted a plug incorrectly; and

you supply your receipt to show when you bought it.

This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
