Troubleshooting Guide
The following messages are displayed when certain problems are occurring in your sys- tem. Take the recommended actions.
ProtectThe speaker wire has a
] Wire or insulate the speaker cable properly and press the reset button.
Hot ErrorThe protection circuit in the unit activates when the temperature inside the unit exceeds 60°C (140°F), stopping all operation.
] Cool down the unit by opening the windows or turning on the air conditioner. As the temperature falls below 60°C (140°F), the disc will start playing again.
Hold ErrorThe protection circuit in the unit activates when the temperature inside the automatic disc changer exceeds 60°C (140°F), stopping all operation.
] Cool down the unit by opening the windows or turning on the air conditioner. As the temperature falls below 60°C (140°F), the disc will start playing again.
Mecha ErrorThe disc player is malfunctioning.
] Eject the disc and try inserting it again. Contact the Kenwood dealer if this indicator continues blinking or the disc cannot be ejected.
Disc ErrorThe unplayable discs is inserted.
Read ErrorThe disc is
] Load the disc with the labeled side up. The disc is quite dirty.
] Clean the disc, referring to the section on <Disc cleaning> (page 13).
Region code ErrorThe DVD software encoded for other region code.
Parental level ErrorThe parental level is set to high levels.
Error 07 — 67The unit is malfunctioning for some reason.
] Press the reset button on the unit. If the "Error ##"
code does not disappear, consult your nearest service center.
