Applied Operations
Program PlaybackDesired tracks in a desired disc can be programmed in
the desired order. (Program playback is not available with
DVD VIDEO, MP3 disc.)
Registering and playing the program
Insert all of the discs to be used in programming in the
tray, close it and press the DISC 1 to 5 buttons so that
the player reads the disc information by playing each
disc until display "READING" disappears. (If the tray is
opened after this, the above procedure should be
repeated so that the player reads all disc information
again.)
1. In stop mode, press the PGM button.

¶When the player enters the program mode, the
screen as shown in the figure appears and the
"PROG." indicator in the display lights to indicate
that the player is in the program mode.
¶Newly programmed tracks are appended to the end
of the existing program.
2. Select a disc by pressing one of the DISC 1 to 5 button.
¶If you commit a mistake in the numeric button
input, press the CLEAR button and restart the input
from the beginning.
¶It is also possible to enter the disc number alone
without selecting a group and/or track number in
the program list. In this case, all of the tracks in
the disc will be played back.
3. With a DVD AUDIO, select a group by pressing one
of 0 to 9 buttons on the remote.
¶It is also possible to enter the disc number and
group number in the program list without selecting
a track number. In this case, all of the tracks in the
group will be played back.
4. Select a track number with 0 to 9 and +10 button.
5. Press the ENTER button to enter the track in the pro-
gram list.
¶Up to 32 tracks can be programmed by repeating
steps 2 to 5 for each.
