To remove the CD:
Whilst in the stop mode, press the OPEN/CLOSE button.
Press the CD eject button and remove the CD.

λAfter removing the CD, make sure to press the OPEN/CLOSE button and close the CD compartment.

Caution:
λDo not stop or move the CD compartment cover manually. It may cause mal- functions to the unit.
λBe careful not to jam your fingers in the CD compartment cover.
λIf the power fails whilst the compartment is open, wait until the power is restored.
λIf a disc is damaged, dirty, or loaded upside down, "NO DISC" or "READ ERR" will appear on the display.
λKeep foreign objects out of the CD compartment.
λSubjecting the unit to shock or vibration may cause mistracking.
λWhen the unit is not being used, be sure to close the CD compartment. If it is left open, the lens may be covered with dust and the unit may not operate properly.
λIf TV or radio interference occurs during CD operation, move the unit away from the TV or radio.
νTo locate the beginning of a track
To move to the beginning of the next track:
Press the button for less than 0.5 seconds during playback.
λYou can skip to any track by pressing the button re-
peatedly until the desired track number appears.
To restart the track being played:
Press the button for less than 0.5 seconds during playback.

νTo locate the desired portion
For audible fast forward:
Press and hold down the button during playback.
For audible fast reverse:
Press and hold down the button during playback.
Notes:
λNormal playback will resume when the or button is released.
λWhen the end of the last track is reached during fast forward, "END" will appear on the display and CD operation will be paused. When the beginning of the first track
is reached during fast reverse, playback will start when you release the button.
