Registering Special bluetooth device

Allow registration of a special device that cannot be registered normally (pairing).

1Enter Bluetooth mode

KDC-BT51U

Press the [

] button.

KDC-5751SD KDC-5051U

Press the [LOG] button for at least 1 second.

“BT MODE” is displayed.

2Enter Function setting mode

Press the Control knob for at least 1 second.

3Select Special device registration mode The item can be selected and determined as follows.

“Settings” > “Pairing” > “SPCL Device Select” To select the item, turn the Control knob. To determine the item, press the Control knob.

4Select a desired device nameTurn the Control knob to select device name, and then press the Control knob.

If “Completed” is displayed, registration is completed.

5Go through the procedure of <Registering Bluetooth device> (page 44) and complete the registration (pairing).

Cancelling Bluetooth mode

Press the [SRC] button.

• If the device name is not in the list, select “Other Phones”.

Registering PIN Code

By operating the Bluetooth device, specify the PIN code necessary for registering this unit.

“BT MODE” is displayed.

2Enter Function setting mode

Press the Control knob for at least 1 second.

3Select PIN code edit mode

The item can be selected and determined as follows.

“Settings” > “Detailed Settings” > “PIN Code Edit”

To select the item, turn the Control knob. To determine the item, press the Control knob.

4Input the PIN code

Operation type		Operation
Select the numbers.		Turn the Control knob.
Move to the next digit.		Push the Control knob towards right.
Delete the last digit.		Push the Control knob towards left.
Transmit the PIN code.		Press the Control knob.

If “Completed” is displayed, registration is complete.

5Exit Bluetooth mode Press the [SRC] button.
