Check that:
•The appropriate antenna is connected. See Chapter One of the Con- nections and Setup Guide.
• | The broadcast band is correct. See “Radio Tuning” on page 35 of this |

• | The tuner is set to the correct frequency. See “Radio Tuning” on page 35 |
| of this manual. |
•Confirm that the radio station is broadcasting RDS.
•Make sure you use the Auto Memory function to store RDS stations in memory. See “Storing RDS Stations Automatically” on page 37 of this manual.
I’m getting a lot of static/interference•Check whether the receiver or antenna is too close to a TV or other electrical appliance.
•Adjust the antenna for best reception.
•If you live in an area with weak FM signals, consider a rooftop or an amplified FM antenna (available at any home electronics store).
When I press a key to tune to a preset station, the receiver does not respondCheck whether:
•The receiver has been unplugged for more than three days. If it has, your settings were cleared from the receiver’s memory. See “My re- ceiver won’t turn on and the STANDBY indicator is flashing” on page 64 of this manual.
•The Tuner input is selected. See “Radio Tuning” on page 35 of this manual.
