The TAPE EQ. system minimizes the hiss noise heard when playing tape. When playing a tape prerecorded with Dolby NR ON, be sure to set the TAPE EQ. ON for playback.
Lit when “TAPE EQ.” is ONTAPE EQ.
Each press switches the modes as follows.1 “TAPE EQ.” Light ......... TAPE EQ. is used.2 “TAPE EQ.” Goes off ... TAPE EQ. is not used.÷ Select the TAPE EQ. mode according to the recording condition of the tape.
