A solid soffit or a wood block
is required to prevent the
refrigerator from tipping forward
after tt is installed.
Determine what height the
refrigerator will be when it is
installed to fit opening. Determine
the height to the top of the cover at
the final installed height you plan
to use.

When a soffit is not available,
locate wall studs in the refrigerator
opening. Center one wood block
and use wood screws to attach the
wood block to the wall studs. Make
sure screws engage wail studs a
minimum of 1 -l/2”. Screw the
second wood block to the front of
the first block. The wood blocks
must extend 2 inches beyond the
ends of the cover.
