Wiring to Power Supply

RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK. THIS RANGE HOOD MUST BE PROPERLY GROUNDED. MAKE SURE THIS IS DONE
BY QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTRICAL CODES. BEFORE CONNECTING WIRES, SWITCH POWER OFF AT SERVICE PANEL AND LOCK SERVICE PANEL TO PREVENT POWER FROM BEING SWITCHED ON ACCIDENTALLY.
7.Route house wiring into the ceiling as close to the installation location as possible. Allow additional length to drop down from the ceiling to the electrical box.
8.Connect the electrical wires according to color (black to black, white to white, and green to green) and cap with wire connectors. Green wire must be grounded to reduce risk of electrical shock.
Ductwork Installation
9.Use 6” round aluminum or steel pipe (not provided) to connect the 6” round damper on the hood to the ductwork above. NOTE: Place 6” round duct pipe over the damper. Seal with duct tape to make all joints secure and tight. NOTE: MAKE SURE FLAPS ON DAMPER CAN OPEN & CLOSE FREELY. (Figure 6)
