Camera problems

Status	Solution
Camera does not	■ Make sure the battery is charged and installed correctly (see
turn on/off or function	page 1).
LCD is too dark.	■ Adjust the LCD Brightness setting in the Settings menu (see
	page 40).
Short battery life	■ Make sure the battery is charged (see page 1).
	■ Limit the time you review pictures/videos on the camera LCD.
	■ Purchase a spare battery at www.kodak.com/go/accessories.
Flash does not fire	■ The flash does not fire in all modes. Change modes as needed
	(see page 13).
Memory card is almost	■ Transfer the pictures to the computer (see page 42).
or entirely full	■ Delete pictures from the card (see page 21) or insert a new card.
You cannot take a	■ Turn the camera off, then on again.
picture	■ Depress the Shutter button all the way (see page 7).
	■ Insert a new/charged battery (see page 1).
	■ Memory is full. Transfer pictures to the computer (see page 42),
	delete pictures (see page 21), or insert another card.

Pictures remaining number does not decrease after taking a picture

■Continue taking pictures. The camera is operating normally.

(The camera estimates the number of pictures remaining after each picture is taken, based on picture size and content.)
