El instalador debe suministrar dicho interruptor GFCI, cuyo funcionamiento debe probarse en forma rutinaria. Para probar el GFCI, oprima el botón de prueba. El GFCI debe interrumpir el suministro eléctrico. Oprima el botón de restablecer (reset) la alimentación eléctrica. Esto debe restablecer la alimentación eléctrica. Si el interruptor de protección GFCI no funciona de este modo, significa que está averiado. Si el GFCI interrumpe la alimentación eléctrica a la bañera de hidromasaje sin haber activado el botón de prueba, significa que existe corriente a tierra, indicando la posibilidad de una sacudida eléctrica. No utilice esta bañera de hidromasaje. Desconecte la bañera de hidromasaje, y antes de usarla, haga que un representante de servicio autorizado solucione el problema.
